Museums, and other cultural heritage sites, can have a social and economic benefit for their local communities. We can produce evidence to show that museums are valuable
for local people and tourists. This evidence will be useful for funding bids and other support for the museum.
In this workshop, we will discuss some of the opportunities and challenges for museums on the Dalmatian coast. Then we will look at how to find out what visitors think about the museum, and how to encourage more people to visit. This helps to increase the museum’s social and economic value.
