Short biography:
John Reeve teaches on the Museums and Galleries in Education MA at the Institute of Education, London University, and was previously Head of Education at the British Museum and chair of GEM. He is a trustee of Strawberry Hill House, and a museums consultant, working most recently in India and China. He was co-editor and contributor to ‘The Responsive Museum’ (Ashgate 2006); author of several books on Japanese art and also religions in museums, including in ‘Museums, Equality and Social Justice’ eds. Sandell and Nightingale (Routledge 2012) He is a contributor with Vicky Woollard to the international reference work ‘Museum Practice’ (to be published in 2013/ 2014)
