Croatian ICOM member and INTERCOM Chair Goranka Horjan will lead LEAC in the next mandate

ICOM President Suay Aksoy has appointed new members of the ICOM Legal Affairs Committee (LEAC) in the period 2020 – 2022. This standing committee will have 17 members of various expertise including legal experts for museum field and will be chaired by Goranka Horjan. Since Kyoto General Conference Horjan is chairing INTERCOM, international committee for museum management. ICOM LEAC task is to advise the Executive Board and the Advisory Council of ICOM. The purpose and missions of LEAC are to provide expertise on legal issues of interest to the museum community, such as but not limited to cultural heritage, intellectual property and information technology laws.
